Ramona is packing on the ounces and eating like a champ, and already has quite an amazing roster of girlfriends who love her. Lucky girls, all of us! Love holdin' that sleepy Hanburger baby.
Dinner with Sadie and Megan turned into a party with "Tall Megan", Hanburger, and as you can see, Annie. I made chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes, and a salad (which Sadie argued was pointless given the fat content on the plate). Oh and I discovered that you can make bechamel gravy with vanilla soy milk if you're in a pinch! I used up all my real milk on the mashers and then went and bought another carton and totally left it behind at the grocery store. But you can't have chicken fried steak without gravy, and the emergency gravy actually tasted pretty darn good. In other news, Katie and Megan continue to grow and grow, and we got to feel some good kicks from both of the little homegirls at the end of the evening.
We hung out and ate Moosewood rice pudding and watched Stuart assemble the new wheels. (The stroller that is). I sure don't know a lot about strollers but I definitely highly approve of this choice... The colors are fabulous (notice the blue lining) and it feels really sturdy and fun to push. It even has a cup holder, but I learned that that's standard these days. I dunno, I was pretty impressed with the whole thing. This baby is gonna be riding around Los Angeles in style.
Such a fun night, Halloween eve 2009. So many pictures of pumpkins. Megan made "Jack as a pumpkin" cuz Jack couldn't be there. I mean, excuse me but someone has to make South Park.
