Sarah and Patrick came over this weekend because Patrick wanted to use my pretty kitchen appliances. We made guacamole, fruit sangria, pizza from scratch and Cammie's mom's amazing strawberry frangipane tart recipe. Lots of carbs. Lots of super weird videos (like Peanut Butter Man, manequins and animals with human heads in cages). And even more fun.

Best Coast @ The Fonda

It was hard, but I tried really hard to keep my eyes off Bethany and on Bobb for most of the show. He is fucking awesome, man. And kind of in a way totally adorable! The coolest thing though was that Bethany's dad came out and played drumz on the last song (Each and Every Day) and he completely stole the show.

VIP

I went to this totally weird Hollywood benefit for Global Green last Weds night in Hollywood. Best Coast was playing and I got all dressed up and drank a vodka martini and Adam Shore was wearing a tie. Thanks Adam Shore for always making me feel like a VIP.

It's always summer at the Ace Hotel & Swim Club in Palm Springs. We scored a room with a private patio and fireplace, which I spent most of my time curled up in front of. I love getaways where you do.. well, nothing. I need more of this in my life!
