Packing up your beloved environment and saying buy-bye to it is kind of the worst... I spent the last week in my house leading up to packing, just standing in corners of rooms forever, looking. Like at what I obviously knew was there and had been for some time. Figuring out where I'd put all of it in a much less perfect space, in a bigger space even. What to take, what to give away, what to leave there for Beau. I took a couple pictures but not many- I thought the memory would live on better in my head than on my computer or a blog. I was so connected in such an emotional way to this house, it realy felt the most like mine than any other place I've ever lived. Even though I can still come back here, seeing it empty was remarkably painful, and even now looking at this last photo, my heart feels heavy so I have to go. Bye.
