So yesterday I woke to a cat I don't know in my house! He was just hanging out, playing with Slash. Haha what a teenager, inviting friends over when mom's not around. I love it.

Brooklyn Food Crawl

Started and ended at Roberta's, on a cold November Saturday when Jill and I found out that the fried chicken and biscuits was on the menu, in addition to the always amazing pizza.

Sarah and I went to Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles for the first time last week and then watched the Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia.

Back from Blog Break

Now that I have 12 days off I finally have time to attend to the blog. I am so grateful for having these peaceful, restful days (though there are only five left.. I must spend them wisely), but so far I have been pretty productive and have enjoyed a busy social calendar. It's been beautiful out, and I cannot tell you how happy I am to be romping around outside in the 65 degree December air than be buried under 3 feet of snow in NY. Not to make anyone there feel bad. Hmm... What will I do tomorrow?

The first annual Grateful Dead all-day listening party, and resurrecting of our old standby "kind veggie burritos" in what must be 10 or 12 years.. complete with heirloom tomato and persimmon salsa, as envisioned and made into reality by myself and Jack Shih.
