Thanks for the extra spinach pesto! I made a super good whole wheat pesto pizza with orange pepper, heirloom tomato, goat cheese and shallot for Patricia and myself at lunchtime today. We opened the most crisp bottle of rose, which was just perfect in today's heat.

It's Slash's Birthday! He is One Year Old!

The woman who I adopted Slash from gave me a disk with all these photos from the first few weeks of his little life. He was so cute even then as a wet shriveled little fetal kitty! And he still sleeps like that- on his back with his arms above his head. Hahaha.
