I loved Larissa Brantner James's first year show at CalArts. She is so cool, and didn't even mind when the gold brick pile had an avalanche at the opening.

The Aftermath - Martin Kersels Lecture aka Disco Dance Party 3/10/11
You know it's a killer artist lecture when during the Q&A music comes up and everyone starts clearing the chairs to the perimeter of the room and a disco ball appears and everyone starts dancing like crazy and then by the end the disco ball is completely smashed and we just put F200 back to normal like any old day at work but leave the remains in the middle of the floor for the next mornings lecture class to enjoy.
