TOTAL FAVEZ
This was the 4th of July, and it was the very day we found out a top secret that Hanburger was pregnant and that a little babe would be arriving in March! We were so happy. I wasn't allowed to say then, why we were so fired up. Now you know.

Who's that Lady?
Hiring someone to help you do your job better is like the best idea I ever heard of! I read 1066 applications in two months, taught a bunch of kids how to sew in only 6 classes, and entertained over 100 people for about 25 hours total and I could not have done it without this peach! Kaylan George is the best (and classiest) hired help in town.

Interview days at CalArts, first Design, on March 4th with 40 candidates visiting, and then Art & Photo on March 11th with 60-something candidates visiting! These events last all day long, and consist of interviews with all our faculty, the decision meetings, presentations of student work, and then lots of partying at the end. But I organize and coordinate it all so it's a lot, and these two days have kept me very busy for the past few weeks, sometimes crying, but most importantly to you, away from the blog. At the end of the day(s) they were great events I think, which I hope with bring us amazing students next year. My favorite pic is of Tom Lawson laughing at Martin holding the tiniest dog ever.
